1. Position the flex plate (1) onto the crankshaft and install the bolts finger tight.
2. Using the sequence shown in illustration, tighten the flex plate retaining bolts to 95 N.m (70 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the transmission. Refer to INSTALLATION .
