6.7L Cummins Injectors and Fuel Lines – Fuel Drain Lines – Install

Front Gear Train
Do not bend, pry, or kink the fuel drain lines during installation.
1 Install the fuel drain line from the fuel pump.
2 Install the fuel drain line from the fuel rail pressure relief valve.
3 Install the fuel drain line from the injector drain port at the rear of the cylinder head and at the filter head.
Torque Value: 24 Nโ€ขm [ 212 in-lb ]
The fitting for the injector return flow on the rear of the cylinder head contains a check valve to maintain proper
back pressure. Fuel exiting the check valve returns to the tank.

Rear Gear Train
Do not bend, pry, or kink the fuel drain lines during installation.
1 Assemble and install the banjo bolt and eyelet to the drain connection of the fuel injection pump.
2 Connect the fuel drain line to the fuel rail pressure relief valve.
3 Connect the fuel drain line to the injector drain port at the rear of the cylinder head.
Torque Value: 24 Nโ€ขm [ 212 in-lb ]
The fitting for the injector return flow on the rear of the cylinder head contains a check valve to maintain proper
back pressure. Fuel exiting the check valve returns to the tank.
Connect or install any clips securing the routing of the fuel drain lines.
