6.7L Cummins Injectors and Fuel Lines – Fuel Rail Supply Line (High Pressure) – Remove

Front Gear Train
NOTE: A counter-torque must be applied to the fitting on the high-pressure pump. This is to prevent the fitting from
being loosened, and to reduce the possibility of a leak.
Disconnect the high-pressure fuel rail supply line fitting from the fuel pump and fuel rail.
Remove the high-pressure fuel rail supply line.

Rear Gear Train
NOTE: A counter-torque must be applied to the fitting on the high-pressure pump. This is to prevent the fitting from
being loosened and to reduce the possibility of a leak.
Disconnect the high-pressure fuel rail supply line fitting from the fuel pump and fuel rail.

NOTE: For Rear Gear Train engines, the fuel rail supply line and brackets can possibly be routed behind the air
compressor. Remove the air compressor, if necessary.
Refer to Procedure 012-014 in Section 12.
Remove the fuel rail supply line support brackets mounting fasteners.
NOTE: Do not bend, pry, or kink the fuel rail supply line during removal.
Remove the fuel rail supply line.
