Use clean 15W-40 oil to coat the gasket surface of the filter.
Fill the filter with clean 15W-40 oil.
NOTE: Be careful that no debris is poured into the filter.
If using an oil supply with a metallic or plastic seal under the cap, be careful to peel the seal back. Puncturing the
seal with a knife or sharp object can create debris in the oil container.
Install the filter on the oil filter head. Tighten the filter until the gasket contacts the filter head surface.
Tighten 3/4 turn to 1 turn after gasket makes contact with the filter head.
