This procedure applies to the rear gear train engine EGA cooler and cylinder head vent line. The vent line is
required to remove air from the cooling system to reduce the possibility of water pump and EGA cooler cavitation.
On a rear gear train engine, the vent line (1) is plumbed into the EGA cooler and cylinder head.
An OEM vent line (not shown) is then routed from the vent fitting to the coolant recovery/expansion tank.
