6.7L Power Stroke – Coolant System Flow (Back of Front Cover)

โ€ข Coolant is sealed via rubber O-ring seals.
โ€ข Coolant is directed through two passages in the front cover. One for the right bank of cylinders and one for the left bank of cylinders.
โ€ข During warm up the thermostat blocks the coolant flow to the radiator and the coolant is routed back to the pump through the bypass circuit.
โ€ข At normal operating temperature the thermostats are completely opened and the coolant is routed to the pump via the radiator.
