The NOx sensor is mounted next to the EGT14 sensor. The NOx sensor monitors the amount of NOx out of the tailpipe. The PCM uses the information to adjust how much reductant is being injected into the exhaust as well as
an input for fuel trim. The information from the NOx sensor can also tell the effectiveness of the Selective Catalyst
Reduction (SCR) system.
