• With exception to the exhaust up-pipe connection, the updated 2004 EGR cooler installs in the same location as the original EGR cooler.
• Because the new EGR cooler is longer than the original, the exhaust up-pipe is shorter in length at the EGR cooler connection than the original up-pipe. • The new EGR cooler still utilizes the same v-band clamp.
• The EGR cooler has been lengthened for the updated 2004 MY engine. • The changes to the EGR cooler will cause the exhaust gases to be cooler before entering into the intake manifold.
• Three fins have been added to the turbine wheel of the turbocharger. • These additional fins were added to the turbine wheel in order to improve the turbocharger’s sound characteristics.
