Install the lubricating oil fill tube. Use new seals. If equipped, install the lubricating oil fill tube supports, clamps, and/or mounting capscrews. Tighten all fasteners.
Clean the gasket surfaces. Clean the lubricating oil fill tube and removed components with solvent. Dry with compressed air. Inspect the lubricating oil tube, supports, and clamps for cracks. Replace the tube if damage is found.
If equipped, remove any lubricating oil fill tube supports, clamps, and/or mounting capscrews. Remove the lubricating oil fill tube.
Clean and check the lubricating oil drain plug threads and sealing surface. Use a new sealing washer, if damage is observed. Install the lubricating oil pan drain plug. NOTE: Take care to ensure the oil suction tube gasket openings align with both the oil suction tube and the block. Install the lubricating oil suction tube gasket and suction tube. Install and tighten the suction tube mounting capscrews. Torque Value: 24 N•m [ 212 in-lb ]
Using a putty knife, clean the gasket surfaces. Clean the suction tube surface with hot, soapy water. Inspect the suction tube for cracks.
Remove the suction tube mounting capscrews. Remove the suction tube.
