3 Oil pressure switch
The oil pressure in the engine’s oil circuit is monitored via the oil pressure switch.
If the oil pressure is incorrect, this is detected by the oil pressure switch, which then transmits a signal to the PCM.
In the PCM the signal from the oil pressure switch is placed on the CAN communication bus and forwarded to the instrument cluster, causing the oil pressure warning indicator to illuminate. There is no fault strategy implemented
