When operating, the engine blockoroil pan heater should make an audible sound and the adjacent parts should be
warm to the touch.
Some heaters will operate continuously when plugged into the correct voltage electrical socket. Operate them
only when the ambient temperature is below 0 ยฐC [32ยฐF].
