Removal
Preparatory Steps:
• Remove the turbocharger. Refer to Procedure (7-05).

Remove the mounting capscrews, exhaust manifold and gaskets.
Cleaning
Clean the gasket sealing surfaces.
Installation
“ Package” the exhaust manifold capscrews and gaskets on the manifold. Apply anti-seize compound to the cap
screws.
The bead on the exhaust manifold gasket can be installed in either direction.

Install the exhaust manifold and gaskets.
Torque Value: 43 N»m [32 ft-lb]
Follow the sequence shown.
Install the turbocharger. Refer to Procedure (7-05).
