KUBOTA – L2501 – REAR AXLE – STRUCTURE

The final gears (10) are final reduction mechanism which further reduces the speed of rotation. The direction of
power transmitted is changed by the differential gear.
The rear axles (2) are the final transmission mechanisms which transmit the power from the transmission to the
rear wheels. The rotation speed is reduced by the final gears (10).
The rear axles are the semi-floating type with the ball bearing (1) between the rear axle (2) and rear axle case
(3), which support the rear wheel load besides transmitting power to the rear wheel. The rear axles also support the
weight of the tractor.
