The CAC temperature sensor is a 2 wire thermistor-type sensor. The PCM applies 5 volts to the CAC temperature
sensor circuit. The sensor changes the internal resistance as the air temperature changes. The PCM uses the CAC temperature sensor as an input in determining turbocharger, EGR, fuel control and regeneration.
