Remove the transmission. See appropriate REMOVAL & INSTALLATION article in AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS. Remove the flexplate retaining bolts and the flexplate. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Tighten the flexplate retaining bolts in the sequence shown to specification. See Fig. 123. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS.
